On Monday, started did some preliminary work to determine the feasibility of a custom staticSearch that would handle the tokenizing for Japanese. There is a lot of work to do on this.
On Wednesday, worked on getting the Key to the Panels to render with katakana placenames, which wasn’t quite as straightforward as we might think, since conventions for capitalization are so variable. Finally got it all rendering as intended, and published a new version to the dev site.
On Friday, did a bit of planning for the names committee work.
