On Monday, reviewed place bios and met with JJ and KH to discuss style, sources, etc. Then attended a meeting with the JCLS team to review progress and get some answers to questions.
On Tuesday, having got a clear answer about the stones-vs-panels question, I set about the monumental renaming process involved in converting the terminology. By the end of the day I had a working build, but more testing of the site is still needed before I can push a new version up to the server.
On Wednesday, did some more testing and then pushed a new edition to the server, and also discussed the use and usability of a vector drawing of the site which we received from ST.
On Thursday, created a first draft of the map introduction and FAQ content for the team to look at. Then started work on a Schematron QuickFix which will enable automated generation of a Japanese bio note from the English one, with all placenames pre-converted. I have the bones in place, but not the actual conversion yet; there is a plan for that articulated in the Teams location, for input from anyone else.
