On Wednesday, after some time wrestling with the issue of bilingual GeoJSON for the map, GN and I met and redesigned the JSON/GeoJSON structure, and I rewrote the XSLT to create the new structures. GN will now rewrite the map JS so that we can have seamless bilinguality as well as state-retention when moving between the language versions.
On Thursday, worked on further katakana-ization of the <placeName>s
in the place hierarchy; I’m close to finishing Vancouver Island.
