On Tuesday, met with all of HCMC to discuss the site structure and functionality. Then wrote some XSLT to construct a proper TEI placeography that will be easier to maintain, and from which we can re-generate all the relevant XSLT structures needed to build the site. This is especially needed since we have now decided to create community-level pages.
On Thursday, met with GN, PS, and AN to discuss Japanese fonts, styling, layout and so on. Then worked with AN on translation patterns, nomenclature, and so on, and also started work on rewriting the XSLT for the place hierarchy. Left it in a half-finished state that will not build.
On Friday, finished that part of the build process, which I believe is now working, but I have the rest of the place-rendering work to do still. Discussed the translation questions, timing, and workload with the team.
