On Monday and Tuesday, did some thinking about how we might handle the problem of linking to areas whose listings are split over multiple pages, and decided that the bug can be avoided by not linking directly from the sub-areas to their area pages, but linking instead to the relevant heading in the place hierarchy page.
On Wednesday, implemented this fix, and added a highlight colour which should also work for the search hit highlighting. Then I rebuilt the site and pushed up a new public release.
On Thursday, met with ST, JJ, JG, PS, and others to plan the basics of the public website.
