Over the weekend, wrote and tested the library to merge person records.
On Tuesday, got a barrage of info and FRs for the public site, which is going to be constructed from the private site; started setting that up. It requires a major rewrite of the private site to add features required on both, and then a post-processing stage will remove most of the private stuff. Also got some example spreadsheets from MA and SI so I can prepare for data-ingestion.
On Wednesday, got control of the menu and started building in all the additional information required for the private and public versions of the site. By the end of the day I had a working private site along with a working public site generated by a simplifying identity transform on the private site. I think we’re basically ready, barring further requests from the team.
On Thursday, added one more diagnostic, and fixed some cases found by it. Then in the afternoon, got another request for a diagnostic to catch name discrepancies between Monument and LOI, and added that one.
On Friday, coded all the components of the rather tricky process to integrate people born after uprooting from a spreadsheet source into the dataset, and tested it with the sample spreadsheet provided by SI.
