I ran into an issue with Oxygen not opening my files, as described in this post here: . The solution I posted there only worked briefly, and it’s back to giving me a hard time displaying directory trees again. I’ve moved the working directory to be one level up now, and that has worked with Oxygen on my machine. This seems to be an issue with Oxygen not having appropriate permissions for the directory that it’s supposed to be working in.
I also had issues with graphviz engines displaying different content on different OSs, and also ran into issues with the version of graphviz on the clusters we host on (especially with the grouping/clustering features that I was using to group all children and spouses together and lay them out closely together). Mac displays the intended layout since that is my dev environment, whereas the clusters we are hosting on (which are running Debian) won’t display the correct output (spouses are still far apart from one another). We suspect that this might be because of the content duplication, so I started working on getting rid of that by only displaying relationships that are gendered in the female direction. This comes up against the issue of missing inferred relationships, which we need to work on.
