On Monday, had a long discussion with DA about how to approach the inferred family relationship issue. We decided to start by creating relationship collections for each of the featured women, by starting from them and following all links out until we have the complete set of relations; this will be done as a recursive XSLT function, and it will return generated JSON which we can then examine and discuss how to proceed from there.
On Tuesday, implemented the recursive function which pulls in all the relationships moving out from a particular person, and put it into the build running on lico1 for DA to work with.
On Wednesday, added experimental output for all the featured women, to support DA’s progress with the tree-building.
On Thursday, fixed a bug in the XSLT generating the JSON for featured-women trees, and met with AB and DA to discuss next steps for the encoding and family tree building. Added a new business to that taxonomy.
