MAJW has a blue-sky dream of building family trees from our relationship information, and DA is now working on investigating ways to do that using Python and graphviz. Spent some time on Tuesday walking her through the current build process, and then we added some code to generate JSON that might serve as input to the process. There are a lot of questions around what inferences we may be able to make to expand the range of relationships we can work with, and when we might be justified in making them.
On Thursday, with DA, sent an email to AB to see how she feels about placeholders in trees for unknown people, and about mechanically inferring additional relationships based on attested ones.
