On Monday, split one person into two per AB, and raised the issue of how to handle conversion, which is currently encoded as a trait on a person rather than a state arising from a particular event. Met with the team and went through our encoding protocol, adding new things to the schema.
On Wednesday, introduced ABr to the encoding structures and filled in some background; she’s now familiarizing herself with the secondary sources.
On Friday, the encoding of personal names and referring strings on event records got fully under way, and I integrated display of this information into the event and person pages. Also added a better sorting protocol for the staticSearch manuscript filter so the items display in a more helpful order. Then added a Schematron rule to catch duplicate relationship elements, and eliminated forty cases that it caught.
