The pre-emptive tasks for the project were completed a while ago, but the PI has signalled that they are ready to take the next step.
Most of the recent work was on making the maps work more like the original. Popup info boxes have been added to maps with numerous features (like the health centres). This entailed alot of geojson work - more issues were found in the existing data.
A rewrite of the way styles are applied was required to make the maps more graphically coherent across the 7 maps being built.
Deforestation map uses a tile service from Global Forest Watch that seems to drop on a regular basis, so I grabbed the tiles we need using OSMTileDownloader.
