On Monday, worked on the HTML renderings of works created by IN, and after much XSLT and manual fixing, managed to make them valid. There is still a lot of strange encoding in the HTML, but remarkably enough everything looks at least reasonable in the browser. Then added a new search page and a menu link to it using XSLT, and published what we have so far, so at least that is available. What remains to be done is to add all the relevant search filters to each page, set up links from the index pages to pre-configured searches based on document type, and finally to figure out how to wire up the search controls so that selecting specific document types or genres enables or disables other controls.
On Tuesday, started working on some diagnostics to get a sense of what is missing in our texts, and continued work on the XSLT that will eventually add all the staticSearch meta tags we can conjure up.
