On Tuesday, wrote the rsync-to-publish target and tested it; also added a backup-to-squash script on the server, and made sure that was working. Fixed a few minor issues in rendering and enhanced the search and page titles a bit. Let HT know about the working subdomain. Now over to PS to integrate design.
On Thursday, added and tested a build parameter which can make
all resource links local, reducing bloat and making for a more portable
version of the site when it is deployed (as opposed to a build on Jenkins,
for instance, where resource links need to point to the web server
with a full URL). Then after consultation with PS, moved the id attribute
from the <main> and <article>
elements up to the root <html> element in the
output.
On Friday, ran a site checker over the built site to confirm no broken links, then fixed a problem with page-internal link processing.
