The Faculty of Humanities is pleased to be welcoming a new Programmer/Consultant to the Humanities Computing and Media Centre on January 2, 2024. Deniz has been working as a full-stack software developer both inside and outside of the academy for 11 years, deploying her knowledge of Python, JavaScript, FaaS, Java, C, and MLAB in the service of scholarly programming challenges. Her love of mathematics, statistics, and computational problems will allow HCMC to bring a new skillset to bear on digital humanities projects and problems. Deniz speaks English, French, and Turkish fluently.
