HCMC Bids Farewell to Founding Developer

On 2023-12-12, over thirty people gathered in HCMC to bid farewell to Stewart Arneil, HCMC’s founding developer and longest serving staff member. Stewart has directly supported over 30 major digital projects. As Manager of HCMC since 2009, he has facilitated work on dozens of other projects through his expert guidance to PIs, support for his staff, and training of students.
In Fall 2023, Stewart was awarded the Faculty of Humanities Staff Excellent award, which recognizes those who have demonstrated excellence in the performance of their administrative, support or service duties, displaying a commitment above and beyond the requirements of their position
