Begbie, Thomas Stirling
Thomas Stirling Begbie Jr. was the younger brother of Matthew Baillie Begbie.
He worked in London as an iron-merchant and shipowner, and on at least one occasion
attempted to promote road development in British Columbia.
When Matthew died in 1894, Thomas travelled to
Victoria for the funeral.1
