Sir,
I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to transmit herewith, for the information of Mr Secretary Cardwell, a Copy of a letter dated the 24th January last from Captain Turnour of the Clio—with Copy of its Enclosure, reporting his proceedings against Indians at Fort Rupert, Vancouvers Island.
