Sir,
I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's
Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of Lord Granville,
with reference to your Letter of the 28th April last inclosing
an Account of Receipts & Expenditure for Military Services at S.
Juan to 31 December 1868, that, upon the examination of the
Accounts there appears to be an error of 11s/- in totalling
the Vouchers for Colonial Pay for December 1867, the severalsums
sums paid being only £151.5.6, while £151.16.6 is the amount
shewn in the Voucher.

My Lords request that instructions may be given to the Colonial
Government of British Columbia to adjust this error in the next
Account for this service.
