I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her
Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of
Sir E.B. Lytton, that My Lords are of opinion that the
circumstances of the case justify the grant of £250 to
Colonel Moody, for the passage of himself and two servants
to
British Columbia, and They have directed the Paymaster
General to issue that amount to Mess
Cox & C
on his account, charging the same to the Treasury Chest,
as an advance to be repaid from
the the votes to be proposed
to Parliament in the next Session.
