People uprooted from Wilson Creek (28) View on map

Wilson Creek (now ts'uḵw'um), on the Sunshine Coast, was pre-empted by non-Indigenous settlers in the 1880s. The Burns & Jackson Logging Company (Jackson) formed in 1923 and logged in the area, with a camp at Wilson Creek in the 1930s and 1940s. Wilson was the surname of the company’s blacksmith. Burns & Jackson logged at several other locations, some as far away as Salmon Bay and Toba Inlet.

This person will be included on the monument panels in a future addition.
