People uprooted from Toba Inlet (8) View on map

Toba Inlet was the location of two Klahoose First Nation villages and several hand-logging operations including the E&G Logging Company. The E&G Logging Company was mobile and operated in Salmon Bay. Japanese Canadian workers lived in movable camps, likely floating operations. Bunkhouses were often reserved for single men. The Baba Camp had three bunkhouses, a cookhouse, a family house, a bathhouse, and a saw filing house.
