People uprooted from Hatzic Lake (1) View on map

Hatzic Lake, south of the Hatzic Valley, is a shallow lake east of Mission. Hatzic Island is in the centre of the lake and was heavily forested until the early 1900s. Non-Indigenous settlers used the island as farmland for berries.

This person will be included on the monument panels in a future addition.
