Júlia Coso Àlvarez

PhD candidate at the Cultura Material i Arqueometria UB (ARQUB) research unit, at the University of Barcelona. Her activity is focused on the application of analytical techniques to the study of archaeological ceramics, especially the productions of the eastern Andalusia during modern ages. In addition she has participated in different research projects linked with the medieval department at Barcelona University as a pottery specialist and co-direct different archaeological sites (Sant Martí de les Tombetes and Vilavella del Castellet, Pallars Jussà, Catalonia). She has had experience in professional archaeology and participated in international projects as a laboratory and field specialist (e.g. Saruq al Hadid, EAU).
