Following up on our plans to work on a simple XML editor, I checked out the GitHub Spec-Kit tool and used it to generate a detailed project plan, then at GN’s suggestion ran this by ChatGPT. The results look promising, although we will have some pain points around the integration of live validation and reporting with actual editing. This is a good start, though. Then got a Pro account for Claude and had it analyze the BreezeMap codebase and assess the practicality of making its back-end pluggable for either OpenLayers or MapLibre; the result was that it’s going to be quite impractical, as the two models are rather incompatible. I think a better option for using PMTiles is going to be to first set up an OpenLayers build process to generate a stripped-down build of OL for BreezeMap specifically, then add to that the 3rd-party requirements to add PMTiles support.
On Friday, used Claude Code on a TEI P6 issue, documented in the TEI project post for this week.
