On Monday morning, spent a while evaluating EditiX as a possible replacement for Oxygen, but quickly ran into many little annoyances and one major issue around Saxon. It looks like this will not be an option, and instead, we are back to figuring out how to set up project-level validation and transformation scenarios in VSCode.
