NORTH-WEST TERRITORIES ACT.

Mr. McCARTHY moved for leave to introduce Bill (No. 15) to amend the Northwest Territories Act. He said : The purpose of this Bill is to confer upon the Legislative Assembly of the North-west Territories full and complete power in the matter of education.
Motion agreed to, and Bill read the first time.
