Sir,
With reference to your letters of the 15th July 1865 and 12th June last enclosing requisitions from the Governor of Vancouver's Island for certain stores required for the Lighthouses in that Colony, I am directed by the Board of Trade to transmit to you a statement of the expenses incurred by this Department for the supply of the stores amounting to £212.16.10 and to request that you will move the Secretary of State for the Colonies to give directions for this sumtoManuscript image to be paid to Her Majestys Paymaster General, to be placed to the credit of the Vote for Lighthouses abroad.
