Baring to Under-Secretary of State
I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to
acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State for the
Colonies, that the sum of Ten pounds, four shillings
(£10.4s.0d) is due to the Commander of Her Majesty's Ship
"Sparrowhawk" on account of expenses incurred in the Entertainments
specified overleaf and I am to request that you will move Mr
Secretary Cardwell to give directions for that amount to be
transferred to the credit of Naval Funds in the hands of the
Paymaster-General.
