Kennedy forwards a letter from the Crown Agents regarding the purchase of dredging machinery. The Colonial Office agrees to authorize the Crown Agents to pay for the equipment.

Sir
I have the honor to transmit a copy of a letter received from the
Crown Agents for the Colonies making application for authority for
the payment of £1710.7.2 in connection with the supply of certain
dredging machinery to the Government of this Colony being in addition
to the sum of £6000 previously authorized forthat that service and to
request that the authority sought may be conveyed to the Crown Agents.
