I have received and have had under my consideration the Acts noted
underneath
passed by the Legislature of Vancouver Island in the months of Febys
1862 and Feby last and transmitted to me in your Despatch noted in the
Margin.

(2) Harbour Regulation Act 1863
(3) Vancouver Island Land clauses Consolidation Act 1863
(4) Vancouver Island Railway clauses consolidation Act, 1863
(5) Victoria Incorporation Debenture Act 1863
(6) Stamp Act 1863
(7) Ports of Entry Act 1863
I have reported to Her Majesty in Council my opinion that the said
Acts should be left to their operation; and I have the honor to transmit
to you herewith an Order of Her Majesty in Council, dated the 12th of
September 1863 approving that Report.
