I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 17
of the 22nd of May, reporting that you had granted three months leave of
absence on Medical Certificate to Mr. Cary, the Attorney General of
Vancouver Island, and that you had provisionally appointed Mr. David B.
