Newcastle forwards Douglas a letter from the Admiralty requesting payment for travel by Stamp aboard HMS Grappler in October 1860 and asks Douglas to furnish me with any information which you may be able to supply on the subject.

I transmit to you a copy of a letter from the Admiralty relative to the entertainment afforded to Captain Edward Stamp on board Her Majesty's Ship "Grappler" in the month of October last, and I have to request that you will furnish me with any informationManuscript image which you may be able to supply on the subject.
