Mr Frederic Hill presents his compliments to Mr Merivale, and begs
leave to inform him that the Bag of Despatches addressed to the
Governor of Vancouvers Island, which accompanied Mr Merivale's note
of the 8th Instant, was duly delivered into the charge of Mr
DeCourcy.
