I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 6th Instant Enclosing a copy of a Despatch from Governor Douglas dated the 13th October 1858, in which he gives explanation relative to the sale of Town Lands at Victoria, and the complaints made upon that subject by Mr Nias, a gentleman living at San Francisco.
