Tomorrow I hope to be able to report that Captain Parsons with 12 Picked men start on the 1st Septr. I have this instant arrived in London and find thatthat difficulties exist but trust to be able to overcome them feeling assured of your
support if it becomes necessary to appeal to you.
Unless you should desire me to be there earlier, I purpose to be in attendance at
the Colonial Office tomorrow at 2 o'clock. Earlier in the day I shall be with Sir Henry Storks respecting Stores and Sir John Burgoyne respecting officers and men.
