I have to acknowledge the receipt on the 28th Ultimo of your
Circular Despatch of the 12th of June last, informing that Her Majesty had been pleased to entrust to your care, as one of the
Principal Secretaries of State, the seals of the Colonial Department, an appointment
which I have duly noted, and made public for the information of Her Majesty's subjects
in this Colony.
