Abstract
Despatch from London. Enclosures (untranscribed) (1).
Grey writes to Blanshard to forward an Admiralty letter that advises that the Daedalus is scheduled to sail for Panama between the 30th of September and 9th of October last, at a passage-cost of forty-seven pounds, fifteen shillings.
This file encloses a letter from Parker to Merivale, which requests that Blanshard, and not the public, pay the cost of Blanshard's passage on the Daedalus.

Sir,
I transmit for your information a copy of a letter from the Secretary to the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty on the subject of a passage afforded to you in Her Majesty's Ship "Daedalus" between the 30th of September and 9th of October last, and I have to request that you will cause the expense thereofamountingManuscript image amounting to Forty Seven Pounds—Fifteen Shillings—(£47-15-0) to be paid to Captain Wellesley of that Vessel.
