Sir,
With reference to my Letter of the 28th ultimo, I am directed by Earl Granville to transmit to you, to be laid before the Earl of Kimberley, a Copy of a Despatch from Her Majesty's Minister at Washington, inclosing Copies of a Correspondence with Mr Secretary Fish in regard to the Census which has been recently taken by the United States Authorities in the Island of San Juan.
