Lushington to Under-Secretary of State
With reference to Sir F.R. Sandford's letter of 25 October last
stating that Lord Granville had requested Mrs Seymour, the Widow
of the late Governor of British Columbia, to pay to the credit
of Naval Funds the sum of One pound four shillings and six pence
(£1.4.6), being the cost of washing linen belonging to the Poop
Cabin of Her Majesty's Ship "Sparrowhawk"when

Admiralty to acquaint you, for the information of Lord
Granville, that the amount has not yet been paid, so far as
advices have been received, and to request that you will move
