Referring to Your Lordship's observations upon the Land Registry
               Act, 
1870, made in the concluding paragraphs of Your Despatch
               N 18, of 
5 September, I have the honor to transmit a Copy
               of a Letter from the
Attorney
 Attorney General enclosing others from

                  Crease, his Official Predecessor, and 
M Alston, the Registrar,
               upon the subject to which Your Lordship adverts.
               
               2. I think with these gentlemen that it would scarcely be
               desirable at the present time to reopen the discussion upon the
               question of Registration.
