My Lord,
I have the honor to forward an authenticated and two plain
copies of:
An Ordinance entitled the Game Ordinance, 1870.
2. The Attorney General's Report which I forward furnishes all
the information which Your Lordship will requireon

measure; to which I see no objection.

Preservation of Game Ordinance.
This Ordinance is not very carefully worded & it is perhaps
the first instance of such birds as robins, larks, thrushes &
wild pigeons being included under the term "Game."
But it is
easy to understand that the destruction of these small birds may
be very harmful to agriculturists and I would sanction the Ordinance.
