My Lord,
I have the honor to forward for Your Lordship's information the last report received from the Chief Constable of Kootenay respecting his district.
2. Mr NormansellisManuscript image is one of the most satisfactory public officers in the Colony, and it is my intention of sending him the additional assistance he solicits in his very difficult duties. The Kootenay Gold mines lie close to the American frontier and several instances of insubordination have shewn themselves among the miners.
3. Mr Ball the Police Magistrate of New Westminster will visit the mines duringtheManuscript image the summer.
