I transmit to you, for your information and guidance and with
reference to my Despatch No. 64 of the 9th September 1865, a copy of a
letter from the War Office respecting the payment of a pension of
£18.5.0 per annum to B. Wakefield, a discharged Marinewho who intends to
reside in Vancouver's Island.
