Sir,
I have the honor to transmit to you, for your information and in
reply to your Despatch No. 92 of the 5th August a copy of a letter from
the Board of Treasury relating to the distribution between the
Departments chargeable of certain expenses incurred by the Military
occupation of San Juan.
