Sir,
I have received your despatch of the 11th January last No. 1
bringing to my notice the name of Mr. C. Brew for employment in the
Public Service.
I have directed Mr. Brew's name to be noted, but I can hold out
but little hope that an opportunity will present itselfof of enabling
me to give him an appointment.
