Sir,
I have again taken the liberty of calling to enquire the result of my application for a grant of Land on Queen Charlotte Island (20,000 Acres) being anxious to obtain this before Parliament dissolves.
When I had the honor of an interview with you last Monday Week you suggested I should purchase the land at once. If I cannot obtain a free grant I am willing to pay for the land on the condition that when the Capital is raised that I should do so.
Soliciting your kind consideration and apologizing for my thus troubling you.
