Law informs the Colonial Office that the War Department has issued the paymaster general to repay £164.10.1 to the account of the Crown Agents for the Colonies at the Bank of England, which was an amount the War Department originally owed the Government of British Columbia for out pensions of Chelsea Hospital. Cox’s minute suggests informing the Crown Agents.
