My Lord Duke,
A Memorial addressed to the Secretary of State for the Colonies by "holders of British Columbia Bonds, and representatives of Commercial, Banking, Landed and other Interests, in the Colony of British Columbia," numerously and respectably signed, and strongly advocating Victoria as the most suitable place for the seat of Government in that Colony, has been put before the Directors of this Bank.
In the general terms of this Memorial, so far as they relate to the seat of Government,Manuscript image they beg to express their unqualified concurrence.
