Hammond transmits
a letter from the Italian Minister at this Court, [Marquis d'Azeglio,] requesting information respecting an Italian subject named Domenico Terro who is stated to have settled at Victoria in Vancouver's Islandand asks Buckingham to request Seymour to make enquires regarding Terro in British Columbia. Cox minutes that he has prepared to a draft despatch to Seymour.

I am directed by Lord Stanley to transmit to you the accompanying
copy of a letter from the Italian Minister at this Court, requesting
