Seymour forwards No 30. An Ordinance to assimilate the laws for the regulation of pilotage in all parts of the Colony of British Columbia and The Attorney General's report. Holland’s minute summarizes ordinance 30 and describes the ordinance’s effect. Holland further minutes that the despatch should be sent to the Board of Trade.

My Lord Duke,
I have the honor to forward an authenticated and two plain copies of an Ordinance of the late Session of the Legislature, entitled; No 30. An Ordinance toassimilateManuscript image assimilate the laws for the regulation of pilotage in all parts of the Colony of British Columbia.
The Attorney General's report, which I enclose is sufficiently explanatory, and I beg to recommend the measure for allowance.

Pilotage Ordinance. This Ordce extends to the whole Colony the provisions of the Pilotage Ordinance of 1866, No 14. But I suppose it should be sent to the B of Trade with reference to subsection (d) of section 3 which is new.
